Jeroen Boomgaard is Professor of Art & Public Space at Gerrit Rietveld Academie. He also functions as program manager of ARIAS, a collaborative platform for research through the arts, set up by UvA, HvA, AHK, VU and Gerrit Rietveld Academie. On behalf of Rietveld he is in charge of a new 3rd cycle trajectory for artists, called Creator Doctus. He also supervises a NWO/SIA funded research project at Zeeburgereiland in Amsterdam on Contemporary Commoning.
