Jair Stein is a radio and podcast producer, specialized in narrative journalism. He has worked as a science journalist and an investigative reporter, and he was the host of a daily radio show. Over the last 15 years, Jair created several award-winning podcasts such as 1 Minuut (Prix Europa, 2008) and Plots (Zilveren Reissmicrofoon, 2013). He also co-produced the podcast series Opgejaagd (Prix Europa, 2018), a project by his wife Jennifer Pettersson, and the podcast Pim for NRC (PrinsjesPodcastprijs, 2022). Jair is currently working on a six-part documentary podcast for NPO Radio 1 and NTR about the rise and fall of a small broadcasting company, with co-producer Jan Maarten Deurvorst and researcher Huda Rais. Aside from these projects, Jair teaches narrative journalism and he coaches other podcast producers with their audio projects.
